Find Correct Part For My Bike
« on: August 14, 2022, 14:30:31 »
How do I find the correct part eg. brake pads for my bike. ? When I was in Halfords buying an oil filter they just asked for the reg of my bike and searched and immediately got the code for the filter for my bike. Is there a site where I can do this to ensure the part I buy online is actually the right spec. for my bike?

Wemoto do a search by model for most bikes.
For brake parts in the past I have used the EBC catalogue online, there is section that let's you see other bikes which use the same pads. Sometimes you can find that one manufacturer will have the same pads cheaper than others. Also I needed the little slider plate/clip that sits on the rear caliper mount, Suzuki do not list this as an individual part, it's only available with the whole caliper mount for over £100. Honda CBR600 uses the same pads and they have the plate/clip as an individual part for about £6 .

On ebay most listings have a drop down box that show all the models that the part fits, you can also put in your model of bike and it will say weather the part fits your bike or not.
