Wanted 2017 Vstrom £4000 budget

Hi all, looking to get back into the Vstrom world. Sold my AL0 650 to try the nc750DCT....Needless to say I'm back.

As advert states, I have £4000 of a budget and looking for the best bike I can get .

Must be 2017 onwards, preferably an xt but certainly not essential.  Its a 650 I'm looking for but if someone happens to be getting rid of a 1000 at that budget I'm all ears as well.

You'll do well to get a 2017 for 4000 quid. Paid 3800 for my nice 2015, 15000 miler which I was delighted with.

Scottie, I think you'll be looking a while for a last gen 650 for £4K. But with inflation, interest rates, autumn approaching, belts being tightened, maybe?
Just wait and see what despair brings along with it.

Appreciated I am looking for a good bike at a good price.

However I have seen several post 17 models at this price or very close to it both privately and will dealers. Then there’s a load of them just at the sub 5k mark that never shift.

I am a buyer with funds available for a private sale and having used this forum before when I had my last one just figured it would be a good try for a well looked after bike.

I’m in no great rush to pick one up but find are there for the correct bike.
