Hi, picking up my 1050A soon. Could I ask fellow owners what is the best side stand foot extender? The Suzuki one is very expensive, £77, and I don’t need to have VStrom engraved in it.
Also I have no plans at all to go off road, but have never had an led headlamp before and presume they will be more expensive than normal headlamp units.
Does anyone use a headlamp protector?
Pyramid do one that looks very well made,

but don’t want to start fitting trinkets/adding weight just for the hell of it.

Take a look over here. High quality for your 1050.

If you haven't already bought one I can vouch for the headlight protector, same one as I bought. Doddle to fit and yes its very well made.
You may want to think about a radiator guard its very exposed.

Thank you, I’ve gone for the pyramid plastics one, which seems very well made and their advice was easy to access when I needed to check some fitting details.
