Vstrom lowering
« on: June 16, 2022, 11:56:48 »
Hello! I'm hoping someone can offer some advice! I have a 250 strom currently at its standard seat height of 800mm. I've tried hunting for lowering kits but no luck and the local dealers don't have any suggestions. I know I can get the seat "shaved" which may help but I'd prefer this was a last resort.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Remove the seat, turn it over and carefully prise out the plastic/rubber oblong cushion blocks that lift the seat near the tank.
You might need to remove a couple of the circular ones also, refit the seat and check if it's dropped down.
If it rocks L to R too much for your liking you can pack it with strips of rubber taped onto the chassis rail.
