I had an 1150GSA and it was quite the worst bike I have ever owned in 28 years of riding, only had 20K on the clock the paint was flaking off on the pots, casings, Hall Sensor went, paralever bearing, fuel pump.....fixed it and sold it on; liked the engine and seating position. As for 'do it all bikes' my Gen 1 and now Gen 2 thou are absolute beauties in comparison and function.

The rear subframe on my 2014 is also looking a bit grotty, so come winter it’s going to be a strip down and then powder coating for next year. I’m not sure about new nuts and bolts. I’m too tight for that…

I've just stripped my sub frame, having it blasted then coated too. Will stick up some pics.
