The 2014 on models are not to bad on fuel. Regularly get 60mpg if I keep the revs below 4000rpm, 70mph in top. Even at 80mph on a  windy motorway I get 50mpg and have seen a best of 66(wet run from boat to Fortwilliam) and a worst of 35(TT). My best tank range has been 221 miles till the fuel countdown kicks in but its normally 185 miles then I've another 40-45 miles before  I'm pushing.
Serving is easy and well within the average person, I can do it all, yes I am an ex fitter but a textile fitter not an aircraft fitter!
Only sore point is back tyre life, adventure style tyres last 6-7 k miles tops and my favourite tyre the Michelin road 5 only lasts 4-5k miles, the price of torque!

Mackie cards were considered modern exotica round here. Haigh hoppers, Chadwick woollen cards, then later mostly Garnett machines, cross folders & camel back lappers for me. A few mules early on too.

Anyway....back to chudder.Sorry, gents.

:text-goodpost: I don't have a clue what the words meant, but I think I enjoyed reading it.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

It means I can say licker-in, underlicker, breast doffer and fancy fly stripper without sniggering.
