I recently fitted the lights from Cosmo, good quality and easy to install. I use them as daytime running lights, so angled the same as the low beam, they make a huge difference to both being seen and the spread of light immediately in front of you.

I fitted a set from ebay 2 years ago (£25 with switches and wiring) never let me down and I too use them as daytime running lights.

I bought a pair via fleabay (item 284665926985) a little while ago, advertised for BMW models.
Aluminium bodied, 40W easy to fit although I did change the switch for an illuminated one.
Very impressed - not bug eye types which look so ugly - and work well as daylight and/or fog lights.
y only recommendation would be to install a relay between feed from the battery to the switch.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space...
