Fuseboard Bliss…
« on: June 22, 2022, 00:50:51 »
I was on a while ago having issues with Jamies auxiliary fuseboard.

Seems it was my bike that was causing the issues and not the fuseboard.

All sorted now. I sent the last fuseboard I had back to Jamie and he checked it out. It was fine, yet on the bike I was having serious issues as sometimes it would work and then sometimes it wouldn’t work at all.

Jamie sent me another one, the Mk1 version which can carry bigger tolerance. I fitted it last week and I’ve been running the bike every day since then and there’s no issues whatsoever.

The bike is in for its 24k tomorrow and I’ve asked the mechanic to check the voltage regulator and any output as I have a feeling that something was tripping the fuseboard or something like that. The bike is outputting 14.4v according to the dash, so I’m not sure if that’s right or wrong but hopefully the mechanic may be able to see if something isn’t right.

Electrics, eh…? They’re great when all’s well, but then one day…
