Workshop Manual
« on: March 21, 2022, 17:01:02 »
I've been googling for ages and can't, for the life of me, find a Workshop Manual for the DL1000 XT. Can anyone point me in the right direction for hard copy or digital copy.
Thanks

I looked on there, can only find DL1000A/XA Owners Manual. I already have an owners manual, I'm looking for a workshop manual that covers the XT version. I don't see one in the list.

https://www.v-strom.co.uk/downloads/DL1000A%20Manual.zip  This is listed as a Service Manual, is it not?

I think that is for the 2014 model.
Mine is 2017 but I believe it is 2018 spec as it is designated DL10000 X AL8.
Most things will be the same I guess but there were some changes for the AL8.
TPS setting for example. If I put it in "Dealer Mode" there is no _ mark before the c0 so you can't adjust it that way.

I’ve got the manual you require this is for the AL8, there’s a section in the rear of the book that outlines all the updates for the later bikes.
I got mine before we left the EU in 2020 so the cost has gone up I would imagine, see contact details.

As I have just sold my 2018 V-strom 1000 I will be putting the parts that I removed on the sale section soon.
One of the items will be the Suzuki workshop manual that covers the DL1000 XAL8 if you are still after one.
