Cable chaffing
« on: August 07, 2021, 15:00:00 »
Hi
I was giving the 1050XT a look over and happen to notice where the ride by wire cable, switch gear cable and brake line are held together by a metal clip at the top yoke one of the cables comes out the side of the clip when the bars are moved and rubs on the edge of the top yoke. after 1600 miles its already rubbing the cable outer sleeve. I've applied some waterproof grease so they slip along together rather than wear through just thought I'd mention it to other owners.
