workshop manual
« on: July 01, 2021, 18:16:24 »
hi all , I have a 2008 v-strom , what is the best workshop manual to get ? I have the pdf version but I prefer a book , I see haynes do one for the tl1000 which covers the strom up to 2004 , is there much difference between an 04 and an 08 ?

Pretty sure 2004 was the last change to the Gen 1 and even that was minute stuff like clear indicator lenses.
I've got the Haynes and it's been bang on for everything I've done on my '07.

You can always get the pdf printed & bound by the likes of doxdirect like I did for the SP3 manual. As a guide, 100 pages spiral bound with clear covers would be £12.09 delivered, but over £10 is free postage so more pages or heavier weight paper is possibly cheaper.
