hi
I have DL650 2020 with 10000 km .
every time I am going on a bump I hear a tick noise from the front . I have a free play in the brake pads , maybe its from the pads ?
thank you very much

Every DL650 I've ridden, and I've ridden a fair few taps, bangs and clunks on the front end when going over bumps.

Engineering tolerances.
If the pads were tight when new they would seized solid within days of being ridden.

When I apply the Brembo brakes on my brand new Triumph Street Triple R it makes exactly the same 'clunk' as my 2009 Strom. Makes me feel all nostalgic.

I recently tried an electric bike. With no combustion engine noise you can really hear the brakes and suspension working. Brake pad knock is a loud clicking sound. I doubt you'll have a problem.
