Paul, you beat me to it.

 lol  lol  lol

Scary thing is there are people on there that don't know about the usual final drive seal failures being common or why a German BMW (built from Chinese made parts) falls apart and fails so often and catastrophicly.

Saying that, you could be lucky an have a bike made entirely from parts made when the Chinese factories were having an inspection from the German bosses.

But you think a sticky button is an issue.

My Varadero has the usual Honda issue of a kill switch that doesn't go back to run unless you giggle it a few times. (Josh no!  :icon_batterup: )
Sure it looks like it's in the right place and the engine turns over, but she won't fire!  :dl_smiley_banghead:

Though my model wasn't affected the CCT's on Firestorm, Varadero and many of the fireblades used to fail all too frequently.
And the Honda reg/rec and starter solenoid failiers, and the brakes binding with the combined brakes systems back in the 90's.

to be honest a sticky switch, albeit annoying, particularly on a new bike is a little trivial in the grand scheme of things.

All a dealers would do is squirt a bit of WD40 in the switch, wiggle it a bit and give it back.
And I should know. I used to be one of the ones that got given these sorts of jobs  lol

It's the little button for setting the traction control, I think I used mine once or twice in 6 years. Traction control setting 1 is where I leave it, on setting 2 it cuts in to much, off is better but leaves a red light on the dash which is annoyin. Now it might be different on the new 1050's with cruise control, riding models ( slow and slower!) etc in not sure.

I guess bikes are getting more gimmicky, so need additional looking after?
to be honest a bike with extra buttons / gimmicks would put me off...I prefer to feel what is going on rather than something wonderful system saying "Noooo thou shalt not have more power" etc.  lol
As for ABS on a bike - just don't go there   :icon_no:
