DL650 Standard Seat ?
« on: November 22, 2020, 18:14:34 »
Hello all,
Only had the 650 for a month or so, but very pleased. I'm trying to figure out if I have a standard or lower seat on it.(Seller didn't know). I can reach the ground quite well, so maybe its lowered. Can anyone tell me the difference or  maybe give me some dimensions? Mines got 45111-27600 marked underneath.
Thanks

Hello Tim, tell us which model DL650 you have? At least the year (they've been made for almost 20 years). Also, they can be lowered by other means - eg the links attached to the bottom of the rear shock can be changed (longer than standard links lower the seat height).

If you can, put your model specifics in your visible info, under your avatar, it's a great help :thumb:

Sorry, should have put that in; its a 2005 K5. I've been reading about the links, mine are 140mm which I believe is standard. Handling wise, is it better to have lowered seat or lowered front and rear suspension?
