Well that is a shame but it can't be helped. I think you put a really good effort into trying to get CJ on the road again and I thank you for that.
It is interesting to me that it was probably the Spanish climate that did it for CJ. I had thought the Spanish climate was much less damaging than the British climate, however I guess that all the rubber stuff dries out in Spain.
I'm planning on buying a motorhome and keeping it in Spain for six months a year, November through to April. The idea is that I will fly to it when I want in the UK winter and go for a holiday there. I'm going to keep it in covered storage, which is much cheaper in Spain than it would be in the UK. This will have the benefit of keeping the sun off all the rubber seals and the kind of thing.
Anyway thank you for trying to get CJ on the road. I hope you have more luck with your future projects.
