Suzuki genuine heated grips question.
« on: November 01, 2020, 17:52:26 »
I have tried a search for this but cannot come with an answer. The switch on the modern Suzuki heated grips is on the left hand side next to the grip. Does any one know if there is only one heat setting? IE, is it off or on only? Or if you press it twice you get a higher setting? The blurb in the brochure says they have 3 heat settings. So I presume you press again for the next setting?

Many thanks

Andy

Do you have a pic of your controller? Guessing it's not like this one?

Without looking this up I'm going to take a guess that you have to press the button a few times to get different settings.

My OEM BMW heated grips also have just a button and pressing it cycles through 3 different settings.

Do you have anything showing up around the instruments ..?

Each time you press the button you are toggling between heat setting 1, 2, 3 & off.

After you press it, it flashes 1, 2 or 3 times to show which setting you're on.

If you can press it with gloves on you are a better man than me.... that button is tiny  ###

As S2Rgar, but in good daylight the lights may not be too obvious.

It's a shame it doesn't change colour to show you the setting like the Keis heated jacket controller. A simple green = low, amber = medium and red = high. Maybe Suzuki will get it right next time?

I agree with the above the switch is very fiddly but once set the Suzuki heated grips work well.
