......I joined this forum.

I'm glad I did.  There are no egos or attitudes, there is always some entertainment and everyone shares their knowledge and opinions freely.  I'm sure it will stay that way.  It really is a far cry from a US forum that I used to belong to which just seemed a shouting match a lot of the time.  :crazy:

I joined the forum in the middle of last year and would like to echo Mark's comment about the site.
I have asked questions and had experiences and advice given, and the banter is great entertainment.
So many thanks, you have not only on occasions saved my sanity but made me look wind swept and interesting in the eyes of the wife when I use your advice to diagnose a problem and then fix the bike.

We have a .co.uk address. The site is run from Andy's lovely study in rural Welsh land. Most of us speak and type using the Queen's English . So it's an English forum :grin:
I don't have anything against the Americans, I belong to VSRI and Stromtroopers and find them very useful, but this site is more relevent to us here in the UK

thanks a lot Andy ###   We don't speak British, we speak English, so I'm English. I don't think any one who lives north of Blackpool should comment about being English.  They should need a passport to come this far south :neen:

I come from about 100 miles north of Poole, speak English like a native, in fact better than a lot of natives, so would never confuse an all British thing with an individually national entity.

but I speak English (despite the despicable things Mr V Strom says about Northerners)

I also speak a little French/German/Spanish/Italian & Thai .... (I can get fed and watered anywhere  :grin: )

but I'm still British
