Looking for some guidance, today I was doing some routine maintenance just lubricating a few things and started to deal with the clutch lever.
I removed the clutch lever, took out the bush and pivot pin, applied some grease all ready to install and noticed the rubber dust boot (see pic) has started to split.
I’d like to replace this (I’m assuming once dirt and crud get behind it, just like everything else it will deteriorate).
My question is, can I just pull the dust cover off and replace with another.
Or
Do I have to drain down the reservoir and start dismantling the master cylinder in order to replace
TIA
