Wiring spot lights
« on: July 17, 2020, 08:47:20 »
:dl_help: Hello about to wire in spot lights not genuine Suzuki ones, my question dies the genuine item just plug in to the loom? Or do you have to break into it if you want them linked to ignition?
While I’m there on this later bike 2018 have Suzuki bothered to waterproof the connector blocks as earlier models had an issue and recall for this issue?

           Help appreciated regards Ratt

Get one of BigPie's fused relays.  Great piece of kit, even comes with the connectors to safely tap into your existing wiring, and it allows up to 5 different connections for other electrical items such as heated grips.   Can’t recommend it enough.

I can recommend the Bigpie box. As Keith says, no cutting of bike wiring. Will allow you to connect other extras easily and neatly, too. It's safe, simple and it has the word Pie on it. What more could you ask?

There's a plug for the OEM lights behind the radiator and is a pain to get to so easier to get one of Bigpie's boxes
