Not tried this particular product, although I use the smaller type which I got from Banggood. Wish.com has some very poor reviews!

I have something similar and they work a treat, but do a search on this site for buffeting and you'll quickly find there are many solutions that work for some but not necessarily for others. Try mirror extenders too.

I've got something similar, not that one, and I don't like having to look through it instead of over it. I've modified the screen to compensate and although better it's nowhere near perfect. I'm thinking of getting a MRA Vario or Givi Airflow. Take a look at my earlier post on here.

I have a puig one that looks exactly like the one in the op's post. it cost a lot more than £11. does it work? yes to a certain extent. I won't be taking it off.

After so many screens and many bikes, my vote goes to Givi Airflow. That is the only screen I use for last 8 years. I'm on my 3rd bike with it mounted.

Hello Bought a Givi S180T shield cost £100 2 years ago for my 650 worked excellent for directing the wind but had to take it off due to the bloody alloy adjusting block right below your vision, very distracting so go for one that's mounted on the two ends. The best option I have found on two 650 Stroms and the 1000xt I have now is the givi D3105ST for the 1000 and the equivalent style but different part no for the 650.
Having had 3 new vstroms I think its bad at 6 foot tall that the std screens supplied in any position make more noise, than my 1200 bandit sitting at 130mph unfaired. When I bought the 1000xt last year in any height or any of the 3 position made no difference until I fitted the D3105ST now PERFECT, even on the autobahns in Germany sitting at 115mph from Poland to uk in a day. These bloody Japs at three foot F*** All need to supply bikes to Europe where more people are over 6 ft need taller screens or don't supply a screen at all reduce the price of the screen so we can sort out which screen, because you will have to any way.
So try the extension or go the givi taller screen.

Bikes are supplied with a screen that does not look too ugly and is a fair compromise for most riders.  An effective windscreen can be tailor made to fit any rider on any bike but it will be very fugley and it won't suit someone with a very slightly different body shape.  I used a clip on screen on my Harley and also fitted it to my Scooter. Later I used it on my TDM. It was just right to keep the buffeting off my head. Many (40) years ago I fitted a large fiberglass handlebar fairing and it kept the rain and wind off very well. However the low pressure area behind the screen cause a vortex that gathered at my back and my neck . So I got a dry front and a wet and very cold back. If nothing else it showed me that a balance needs to struck between the air pressure between the front and the back of the screen. As all cruiser riders know there is a great deal of pressure release from the front that comes up from below the screen and swirls up to the riders body. Fitting "lowers" or some baffles below and to the side of the screen can reduce buffeting around the head . I have seen on here some riders have fitted wind deflectors  to good effect.  Suzuki know they are in a world market and not all Japanese are short. Screens from all manufacturers are a compromise between effectiveness and style. Style sells and therefore wins (just one word "beaks"). My Yamaha Tracer had the most silly and useless screen OMG. The Suzuki Scooter had an electrically adjusting screen "Down" caused buffeting around my head so bad that I had double vision after and hour and "Up" Good for slower riding in the rain etc, exposed the handlebars and my hands to the elements. Clever, not. The clip on sceen, when added, did help.  None of my current bikes have a screen but then I don't go out in the rain or when it's very cold.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Interesting comments from Brockett, I had a lot of trouble with the standard screen on my Pan 1300 and changed it for a roll top screen which was a big improvement but not quite right, I then read a post from a fellow owner who said if you increased the vortex under the screen it worked, so I made up some brackets and lifted the screen at the bottom by an inch, I can now do well over 100mph without closing the visor on the helmet or getting wet and I do not look through the screen but over it very pleased now.

Darren, how tall are you and have you cruised at about 80 mph (on the clock)? Just wondering because I like the look of that screen. I'm 6 ft and may buy one depending on the answers to the above. Oh! standard mirrors or exchanged for aftermarket or, maybe mirror extenders? Thank you in advance for your answer.  :)

The mirrors are Aprilia Tuono items on the bike above, but other bikes have them fitted as standard too. The Rocket Centre at Blackburn used to be the place to get them cheap but they have now closed.

Exactly the same set up for me. MRA,  Aprilia mirrors which sit on extenders. I am 6ft 1 and can happily listen to my iPod at 3 figures, on the Autobahn of course.

Searching e bay for vstrom MRA screen a lot of different ones come up. Can you recommend one model in particular? Is it the Aprilia mirrors or the MRA screen or the combo of both that do the job ?

There are 3 things that play important part in buffeting on VStroms:
1) Screen
2) Mirrors
3) Mirror extensons
Now, some riders need to correct only one or two of those things, some don't have to do anything. In my case it had to be all of those things plus new brand of helmet. (I'm 6"2,5)

Google MRA they have a web site
As for mirrors they were add for the look nothing else any thing has to look better than the standard flag ship ones
Helmet never had a problem however always buy a high end spec helmet my go to helmet is Arai the visor seals well the noise level is silence and all in all fits my head well
I put it down to the correct screen and correctly fitting helmet so no buffeting for me

I had Schubert C3 Pro and that was expensive helmet. Then I changed to AGV and the rest of the buffeting was gone. Later I found a lot of forums where people were complaining about buffeting with Schubert on different motorcycles.
As for the wind noise, I use ear plugs most of the time and my goal was never to reduce wind noise. However, after doing all of this the wind noise went down by 50%.
