I replaced mine with a Givi Aluminium bash plate. Give good protection to the oil filter and is easier to clean. Reasonable value for money.

That said, my definition of off-roading in a grass verge.  :)

Heed bash plate is a nice piece of kit. It’s well made and good value, especially when the SW versions cost a fortune... although they are probably lighter and tougher. If it’s for appearance you can’t go wrong with the Heed version, no idea if it’s as good off road though as not tested yet.  :)

If you're getting Heed crash bars I'd go with their bash plate. The SW-Motech ones are good, I had one on my 2017 DL1000. It took a serious pounding when I was using the bike off tarmac. Also Ravetech have good repeort, Take a while to arrive and watch out for import duty. All the above will support the bike when using the bash plate as a jacking point. The Givi ones I found to be a bit flimsey.
It depends if your planning on taking the bike off tarmac.

What would be the best option on a 'Glee' (hate that name)
Ravetec, Heed?

The Heed plate mounts to engine bars up front and the frame of the ike at the rear. No stresses or impact transferred to the engine in the event of a bash. But... It sits a long way off the engine, can look a bit gappy, and reflects (as all metal plates will) engine noise back up at the rider. I changed mine for the plastic belly pan thing and decided not to go bouldering.
