scotoiler
« on: March 27, 2020, 16:54:17 »
fitted a scotoiler last year, the instuctions said about feeding the tube through the swingarm ( how the hell do you do that)?
as I couldn't do it I just ran it along the swing arm and all was fine until last night  when I realised something, possibly the chain, had snapped it.
going to order some more tube, but can someone please tell how to feed it through?

I guess you've looked at Scottoiler's instructional pics: it looks as though only some of the DL1000's (2014/15) have holes in the swingarm to feed the tube through ....... or it may mean to mount the tube inside the S/A, as in on the inner face of the S/A between wheel and arm. not particularly clear. on my 650 I've run the tube under the S/A with no problems (and it's there on the Transalp, too, still in place after ten years!)

I've just refitted mine so that it drops the oil just before the front sprocket.
