DL650 Handguards

Does anyone know if handguards for a 2017 model will fit my 2012 AL2? I think the part number for the 2017 onwards handguard kit is 57300-27840-291, and the 2012 L2-L8 kit is 57300-27831-291. Please correct me if these numbers are wrong. I only need the left hand one but can't find one anywhere for sale on it's on. The complete kit is around £70, but I've been offered a 2017 one, which looks a little different, but as long as it will fit OK I'm not bothered about that.

Also looking for a left hand fuel tank cover in glass sparkle black.............

If you manage to get hold of a pair of 57300-27831-291 then I'm looking for the right hand one. Perhaps we could share, and I'll pay the postage. (mine's a 2016 L5).

I went for a new pair of 57300-27840-291 handguards after some research suggested that they superceded the ones I thought I needed, according to Suzuki's site - 57300-27831-291. Got them from eBay (5way motorcycles). 2 out of 3 compatibility checkers (on eBay) said they were compatible with my 2016 DL650XA L5.

Anyway, the right hand guard fitted my 2016 DL650XA L5 and was the same as the original. The left hand guard seems to be the same and fits. If you're still in need of the left hand guard then I still have it, and the original (unused) new fittings and instructions. Genuine Suzuki part. Just a matter of being sure it fits yours I guess.
If not I'll pop it up on the "for sale" group.
