Downunder did you use a new o- ring on the tank to pump seal or was it OK to reuse. I've  the tank off mine at the minute so was thinking I'd to this while its all apart.

Had similar symptoms on my 650k7. Changed the TPS now runs great.

Rather than reading the voltage when turning the throttle I disconnected the plug and measured the resistance between 2 of the pins whilst gently turning the throttle looking for sudden spikes in the readings. Mine was giving different readings on closed throttle, especially when gently closing the throttle (the action you would use filtering and stopping in traffic) Symptoms was cutting out at idle and loss of power. It's a while ago now but if you're struggling I'll dig out the testing papers I used. A new one is around £90.

I used the original big o ring and all of the small ones too. Even thought the workshop manual says to replace them all. I saw the knock-off filters on Ebay but just went with OEM as it was quicker to obtain it and it was only 42 AUD or 21 GBP.

Just a quick update RE TPS sensor nice smoother ride then on way home did it again blinking heck thought I had solved the issue of power loss obviously not now it seams to do it when the engine is hot only also my temperature gauge fluctuates all the time from four bars down to two is this normal blokes

It's starting to sound more like an electrical fault, since the comment in your previous post and I quote: "temperature gauge fluctuates all the time from four bars down to two is this normal".
I suggest that you inspect the connectors above the radiator for burnt / bad connection, as well as the power and earth connection points (battery terminals and earth strap).
How does the voltage look across the battery, with ignition on but not started? Then again the voltage reading, with the engine is running around 3,000 rpm? For a good charging system, you are looking for a reading in the region of 13 - 15 Volts at 2,500 - 5,000 rpm. Ensure that no accessories are drawing power when testing, as this could give a faulse reading.
