« on: May 25, 2019, 14:07:33 »
Hi local dealer called me as he knows I'm looking for a 2nd hand DL1000

He's got a special edition model Desert Storm ?

With out trying to offend any one ,  strange colour choice ?

May be looks better in the flesh ?

Extras looks good though

Any one got one ?

Cheers Steve

There  is not a lot of colour on them, if the deal is good you could change the colour easy enough.  Only the tank and beak are painted and the seat top is colour matched but there are second-hand seats about. Just a thought if it's a good deal

The Desert Storm was one of the specials Suzuki did after the 2014 revamp. Originally they came with all the trimming: Engine guards , fog lights, heated grips, tuppaware engine cowl, hand guards  and a Garmin Sat Nav. I see one regular on my travels in Snowdonia that looks like it's just come out of the box.
The colours not that bad, a few tank graphics would cover most of it.
If the price is right go for it, just check it's had the ECU sorted.
