2011 DL650(ABS) Service Manual
« on: January 09, 2019, 10:14:33 »
Could anyone point me in the right direction to download a service/workshop manual for the above model? Had a look on the downloads section and couldn't see the relevant one...I think, from reading other posts that my model would be an L1(?) but can't seem to find anything for that year/designation. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Is it a Wee or a Glee ?

Thanks, wasn't sure of the changes between years so didn't know what

Only had the bike about 4 days but I think it's a Wee (2011 650/ABS model)

If in doubt, post a picture of your bike. We can easily verify for you.

While I'm posting pictures, there's a small leak coming from the LH oil cooler pipe so I'll need to replace that but when I looked closely at it I noticed a crack on the bottom of the oil cooler itself. Anyone think this will need replaced? No leak from the cooler itself, just don't want to drop the oil, replace the pipe only to have to do the whole thing again to replace the cooler.

Definite wee!

Must be my eyesight, but I can't make out a crack there, kingmunky

Thanks, good to know. :)

The photo wasn't great to be honest, too dark in the garage for a regular pic but the flash didn;t do any help either. I've drawn over the crack to give an idea of the size, it's about 2mm deep, enough for me to get a fingernail in but it feels solid, nothing loose around it. Will get a better photo when I've got it out in the daylight....so March sometime

Yep, a classic wee Strom. The leak looks to be coming from the banjo bolt. The item you have marked seems bone dry.

Looks like part of the crimp sleeve is missing on here...

Thanks mate, appreciate the help. Hopefully the silicone tape will hold firm until I replace that hose.
