KTM EXC-F 250 2008 £2000 - WITHDRAWN
« on: December 25, 2018, 20:24:39 »
Due to not getting out on it much, only used 3 or 4 times this year is my KTM :(
It's MOT'd until August and has just over 3500 miles.

New DID VX chain and JT sprockets one ride ago, along with new Maxxis MaxxCross IT front tyre at the same time.
New front wheel bearings.
Rear tyre still has nice big knobbles on it.
UHD tubes front and back.

New Oil and filter before last ride, I've been changing them every couple of trail rides.

I have a cut down seat and a big boy seat for those with the height of a proper man.

I will miss this bike, but it's just not worth keeping to sit in the garage.

Local delivery could be negotiated.
Photos are with the old tyres on.
The little cleaner will be thrown in for the asking price.

How about you keep hold of it and we go over to Wales for a weekends trail riding when the weather gets warmer?

It's not lack of willing that's kept me from it, its hard to get away for a day let alone a weekend at the minute. I managed to take it to the isle of man this year and that was great.
I think the vstrom may be on the chopping block too having only gone up and down the A1 once a month on the warmer and drier days.

It's a hard decision to make isn't it.
I came to the same conclusion... didn't use it enough, was getting in the way. Better sell it to someone who may use it for what it's for and release some cash.

Good luck.

PS. I mis my trail bikes  :bawl:

Indeed, I've loved every minute on this bike. 2 young kids make getting out often enough difficult.

At the minute I think the KTM and vstrom will be up for sale, along with my trailer :( unless any one wants to buy the kids?

I'll just be keeping my nogas gas.

Where do you usually ride? I'm keen to get out soon, but I'm no longer too keen on cold wet days.

Only been out once so far and that was up near Thirsk. I'm thinking somewhere nearer your way gives more options?

Steady is good for a novice like me.. Within a reasonable distance too..

When you free?
