Cardo Smartset

Anyone having problems with the Cardo Smartset and the Smartpack head set? the app says not connected which means you cannot use the app with the head set.
The blue tooth is working fine and all the firmware is up to date. I've done the old delete and reinstall but nothing I do will get the app to connect to the head set.
A temp fix is to use the older app which works but the new app has more features.

I am using a Smartpack with the app on my Iphone 5C. I think I have the latest app. However on occasions it has refused to connect. My cure is to check the Bluetooth setting on the phone first and ensure that it reads "connected" to the Packtalk on the list of accessories. I then go back to my main screen on the phone and ask the app to connect again and it usually works. If the app doesn't connect the first time I close it on screen before trying again.
