Valve shim question
« on: September 04, 2018, 16:29:40 »
Hi All, Just new to the forum,
I have a 2005 DL1000 and checked the valve shims,
a few are on the minimum limit,
The thing is I don't understand it with future wear whether the gap will open up or close up,
would be grateful for any info.

Hi ,  :welcome: The valve seat sinks over mileage resulting in the gaps closing.  Pop over to the introduction section and introduce yourself. :thumb:

I moved this as it wasn't an introduction.
