Off the subject I know but if you, like myself, have an interest in old engines, you have to go to The Anson Engine Museum,a group of us went and as they were not too busy gave us our own guide and he started lots of them up.Another favourite of mine is the Prickwillow Pumping Station, but only go on a “run” day.

Mother's maiden name (Rogan) followed by synonym for joking. Can easily replace letters with numbers for passwords. Used it since early days of usernames. The biggest challenge to young people now is trying to come up with original usernames.

I'm sure nobody's reading these (I just skipped from page 1 to 8 myself 'cos I'm a lazy b'stard :) ) but just for the record:

I needed a handle for the old SETI at home thing back in the 90's (anybody remember that far back?) and had recently been working some amber I had bought with  - you guessed it - gnats in it... so I started using it there, and it just stuck - and like with many people out there - it was just different enough not to be used on every bloody forum you tried to join and (thankfully) only has one entry in google search, which is e-Bay for some weird reason - telling everybody I've been there since Nov '00...

1994 Motorrad Euro Demo in Paris, rode 100 miles up the motorway with 20,000 others with no lid on and at the end of it, my hair was still perfect.

Hence the name Harmony Hairspray.

This was my sons pastime (skateboarding) and he refused to be beaten by anything (aggressive)
Then there's the text abbreviation (sk8r)
Simple really

It's not an acronym, nor initialism.

Could be a textism.......?

I think it's abbreviation though.  :stirpot:
So how's it going so far then?

It's an abomination that is becoming widespread, replacing letters with numbers and calling them words  :bawl:
