Another project for Bigpie Industries

It would seem our resident  guru is slipping, he has let the Americans beat him yet again. :stirpot:  https://advrider.com/index.php?threads/the-7th-cpu.1337498/

WOW.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I'm still quite occupied by my electric trials conversion, I let a neighbour have ago and he ended up launching the whole bike in the air with a bit of hamfistedness.

It's now very usable, the phone charger in the photo was a temporary solution to get 5v from my 72v battery. All the wiring is done now and the bash plate refitted.

I'm now in the middle of making a little display to show current draw, battery voltage, motor RPM, bike speed and approximate battery level.

A most impressive bit of tinkering.  :thumb:

Edit: As is the bike!  :fix:

Stunning work Bigpie, I've never checked but are electric 'bikes exempt from traffic restriction orders?

TRO still applies, it's still a mechanically propelled vehicle. It's been sorn'd for years. Doubt anyone would moan if I took it somewhere I shouldn't, it's almost silent.

It's also half the original wet weight, now at 41kg.

Some manufacturers are bringing out adult electric trials bikes and oset a someone else make kids electric bikes. I suspect people will have converted trials bikes befor too.

I'm hoping to get to a local farm that's started buying an area for trials bikes soon to test it out properly.

My grand daughter has a Kuberg electric trial type bike, suprisingly it copes with a 13stone adult on it and is quite nippy
