Deeply impressed by duck faced wee xt
« on: August 03, 2018, 15:09:58 »
Myself and a mate are currently in Peru on a pair of 2015/6 650 xts and have nothing but good things to say about them.
We shipped the bikes via air Canada at the end of May to Vancouver and have ridden down through umpteen countries and another flight ( the Darian gap) over the last couple of months. I lost a bolt out of my rear brake on a dirt road in the Appalachian mountains which has been fixed with a random bolt and washer combo and my mate has had a blown fuse.
Oil, plugs, airfilters changed at the roadside, they are even easy to work on.
Back in the UK in September and will post some pictures.

 :eusa-doh:

The caliper bolt was trying to escape the beak.

Just sayin'.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
