I had it on mine after the first service, something to do with the clutch basket bedding in or something. Don't think it's anything to worry about. Sure some one will have a more techinical explanation.

A more technical explanation would be........"Shite build quality of the clutch basket" My Yamaha Superten had it, my old Honda Blackbird did it to a lesser extent, My new this March DL650 had it Slightly at 6,565 miles when I traded it (Got better when I put 10w40 oil in it! My Veek that I have owned for just over a week now has it at 2,545 miles, and when it get's to the stage of vibrations through the bars at higher revs I'll do something about it!.....There's loads of posts about the matter on this here forum!  :thumb:

They all do it at some point. The noise is a bit disconcerting, it sounds like the big ends on its way out. All part of the character !

it's the clutch basket. Suzuki claim it's a non issue and that's true as far as reliable running is concerned.
It annoyed me so I removed the basket and had it modified (sent it from Australia to Britain so shows my determination to fix it). All up cost was about the equivalent of new tyres.
Some bikes are noisier than others.
