Vee for sale - DL1000 Vstrom 2008 (spares or repair)

Hello

I've decided to part with my much loved and ridden vee. I've bought a new Kawasaki Versys 650 now so this has to go. I rode the vee last year up until the main ignition fuse kept blowing - the bike has been sitting on the drive ever since. I'm therefore selling it as a non-runner for spares or repair. 2008, 90,000+ miles.

Non-runner. Spares or repair. Currently on sorn. Was being ridden up until August last year when there was an electrical fault (10amp ignition fuse blows on start). Corrosion to engine and frame in places. No MOT.

Good points:
New 2017 Suzuki top box
New 2017 brake discs
Lots of service history
New 2017 right side panel, hand guards and mirror.
With full luggage (panniers and top box)
GT model so has heated grips and centre stand also.

As mentioned it's a non-runner so you'll need a van or similar to take it away. Would make a good project to get back on the road as a second / winter bike. Or to use as a source of spares.

Wow, 2 posts in 9 years: one 5 years back asking for help, that was given but not acknowledged, the second trying to flog a dodgy Vee. Did you forget we were here until you needed free advertising?

That’s a bit harsh Mr Nick,  he’s made it clear it’s ‘dodgy’, and maybe it is advertised elsewhere.??
He says it’d be a good source of spares too, so probably guessed he’d more likely find someone interested here than via a normal ad.
 And with 90K on the clock he’s probably too busy riding to post stuff. 
Maybe it’s me being naive, but I always try to assume the best of people.
