The time has come to sell my v strom. As said its a 2005 k5 650 with 15500miles on it. I've have owned it since passing my test in July. Since I have had it I have given it a full service with genuine filters. Plugs and valve clearances done. I put a pair of brigstone tourences on shortly after I got it and they have around 600 miles on them maybe less.
It's had all the blue bodywork resprayed by the previous owner at a body shop. Also the engine bars & rear foot rests have been powder coated.
I have a feeling it may have been dropped at very slow speed or even stopped due to a couple of marks on the plastic exhaust guard at the bottom but hardly noticeable. The chain is starting to get a bit worn but still has a few miles in it. There are a few blemishes on the swing arm and oil cooler looks a bit tatty but nothing some tlc shouldn't sort.
I'm going to get some more photos tomorrow if the rain stops but here's one from when I got it.
