Air filter
« on: February 23, 2018, 11:53:09 »
Morning all!
Being the recent owner of a 2002  1000 I decided to replace all fluids & filters!
Hence the question,do I have to essentially strip front end of bike of all panels to lift tank & get to filter?
Or am I being an arse?
Started stripping got angry & cold ,so now posting enquiry!!
By the way those plastic/grommet clip things have a mind of their own!!
Where can I buy more? Think grommet fairies stole several while my back was turned!!
Regards
Tony

covers the rivets.

For tank removal, see http://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.php/topic,7566.0.html

You might need to get the photobucket fix add on for Firefox or Chrome to see the pictures.
