Letting the little baby go
« on: July 29, 2017, 07:11:58 »
Letting the little baby go was a difficult decision. It has been 23 months of enjoyment on the v Strom 650 and have been giving the bike some full throttle over 795 days. But enough is enough having spent several attempts to make to 650 go faster . I've even added a new sprocket on the rear adding one tooth extra. This made the bike accelerate better and would recommend this to anyone wanting to make their bike move a little quicker . .
But hay we have part ex the little baby down at thunder road Bridgend and would like to thank Johnathan the main man who gave me a good part exchange price for the 1000 Strom .
I took out the 1L for a test drive and like it straight away. .
Wasn't too fussed on the single headlight at first but gives off enough light in the dark lanes .
So far so good with the new bike.

That is the easiest route to making a bike go faster  :thumb:

Andy ..
Seeing as you have been adjusting this forum recently maybe there needs to be a section for beak haters offering advice on how to deal with their issues .  lol

The trouble is I am conflicted, I am not sure which I hate most, the beak or the headlight

I do agree .  But it was the logical thing to do.
I don't have to see it when driving.
Thanks JD
