I've done some search, wanted that exact kind for DL1000 2017 that I'm going to purchase next September. I like this kind because of crossbar bellow the beak and Heed bars couldn't tell me if they'd fit 2017 model that has the beak lower then 2014-16 model.
Looking at photos, these have enough room for lower beak.
But then, I understood they are made of aluminium. I can't trust them.
I'd suggest you go and look at Heed bars for your bike, I know they make them and they are made of steel and less expensive then others.

I hope they would stand up OK, I know what you say about alloy but it can be strong, can't it....
