For the ABS version you may wish to check the hoses - the ones that you can see are braided but up behind the forks its just normal Jap rubber hose which given time will go soft and expand under pressure - they did on my 58 plate & I could actually feel them expand between my fingers.
Hel (mentioned already in this thread) in Exeter now produce full set of braided hoses for the ABS version- they had mine as the pattern
Makes "Hel" of a difference. No really the difference is amazing and now more responsive than the brakes on my Explorer.
Well worth doing - but then being the first ABS one mine came foc
(second bike to get that privilege - did the same with CBF1000)
blokes at Hel are very helpful.
Other tip is to use a vacuum unit to draw the fluid through the system - again much easier than forcing it. I use a Sealey hand vac unit having first put PTFE thread on the caliper bleed nipples.
