Yellow or White?
« on: June 14, 2017, 08:41:02 »
Hi All

normally I'd go with the white option on the new vstrom 650, but have to admit to being quite taken by the yellow too - just wondering if it will be one of those colours that one grows out of. Any opinions from a resale point of view later dow the road?

Cheers Philip

I thought the yellow looked OK in the pictures but didn't like it in the flesh.

Yellow will attract more flies, bugs, midges etc.

A lot of us wear horrible yellow jackets so the car drivers see us. I see this colour as a safety measure, and you don't have to look at the bike just put the cover on quick when you get off.

Fast White is the best option, Black shows all the scratches

I went with the Yellow after seeing them in the flesh, was put off initially by the yellow seat then found out its only got a yellow seat on the 1000cc.

If you see them both in person and still can't decide - just flip a coin? (even though the yellow ones are proven to be faster)

Personally speaking, I like the colour of a discount best of all.
