Can anyone tell me if the 2004 DL1000 has a diagnostic connector, if so where. Keep looking but no can find? Would like to fit a gear change indicator but it requires this connector.

It does. It will be in the area of the left side cover under the seat. I believe six hole connector began with the K4.

Had to return item as had 6 pin connector and only found a 4 pin and an 8 pin connector right where you said. Many thanks for you input.

Are you sure you have a K4? K2 and K3 Vees have a four pin connector.

K2 and K3 Vees have a fixed windscreen that mounts with two screws and a tab. Later models have a changeable windscreen mounting position using four screws.
