I bought the one in the pic below from eBay. I liked this particular design, price, and specs. However, to lift most bikes under the engine needs some blocks of wood fettling to spread the load. I did this with some half inch thick marine ply. I glued and screwed shapes to get a good fit that wouldn't slip off. I also made one long plank to span the lift arms. I tie down with ratchet straps to the lift to secure.  It would be better if I had a sump guard that would take the weight of the bike, but manufacturers contacted so far have said "No".

What's the pider lift?  Google's not telling.

The Abba lift springs to mind ...

Never used one, just seen them in shows... and one of the mags tested bike lifts recently and seemed to like the Abba.

Get a centre stand & a block of wood, jack etc under the front of the engine?

How about genuine Suzuki front sprockets?

I have a con stands central lift for my trackbike, it works OK but it did take a lot of faffing about to get it to lift the bike level.
I got mine in a sale for £79 which was to good an opportunity to pass up.

I place 2 sections of sleeper to the side of the bike opposite my side stand and lift the rear of the bike then side step pivoting on the front wheel over and sit the bike on the sump guard with both wheels off the ground.
Its not that heavy just lift with your legs.

Centre stand and then lift the front by pushing the rear down and placing a chock under the bash plate, or engine if no plate fitted.

I also have an ABBA stand but not needed it thanks to the centre stand. Also be aware an Abba when used on a strom could snap off the footpegs if they aren't removed first, or at least cable tied up.
