Pannier carry handles/straps
« on: March 29, 2017, 22:38:15 »
Anyone know where I can get a pair of carry handles/straps for the aluminium panniers on my 650 XT?  Have seen some rather neat looking ones in photos on-line but have had no luck finding the source(s) so far.

And Maplins do such things, too, intended, I think, for stage speaker cabs.

I've used a few of their handles over the years for tool boxes and the like.

Cheers blokes.  Like the look of the SW Motech ones - pricey but nice!  Presume they are the same panniers as the Suzuki ones so should fit.

Hendo...just noticed you've also got an XT - with radiator cover.  Been looking at the various options myself. What one have you got and would you recommend it?

Fat Rat - cheers.  She goes in for the stator recall tomorrow and then it's time to fit a few well chosen custom bits.

Stevej, as Fat Rat said, rad cover from Cymarcbikeparts, does the job and has a nice Vstrom cutout.
Easy to clean with a spray of WD40.
