Cleaning corroded electrical connections
«

In the process of removing the radiator from my wee K9 I have discovered corrosion on the pins in some of the main elecrical harness connectors (the ones attached to the back of the radiator). These connectors are too small to get into with a wire brush but I was wondering if I should be spraying them with something to clean off or reduce the corrosion?
Any suggestions please?

ACF-50 does a fine job. Follow up with ACF-50 grease to prevent future problems.

Excellent greywolf. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I think I have some ACF-50 left, I will need to look for the ACF-50 grease however, that's new to me.

ACF50-type grease is called "Corrosion Block" ... comes in tubes or in tubs and it's bluish in colour ... (I think it's the same stuff

I have a tub of ACF50 Corrosion Block which I smear all over the bike for winter. It starts off blue, and ends up a brownie-yellow colour but does a fantastic job of keeping corrosion away
