Exhaust clamp broke
« on: February 20, 2017, 20:41:24 »
Found my exhaust clamp broke.the one that joins the exhaust pipe to the can                  Have tried to find out what the size is via the forum but too no avail. Several members have changed the clamps on a Wee but mine is a Vee and I can't find out the correct size of clamp. Plenty of stainless clamps on fleabay but with so many different types I would like to get the correct size. Any ideas would be greatfull.

One of mine did too...I got these: Stainless Steel Exhaust Clamp Heavy Duty Turbo Clamps W2 Size 51mm to 55mm

The old one is a bugger to get off even after it broke as it's tack welded on & of course, that bit is still firmly attached.

Cheers

Check the prices first. I've just bought some clamps direct from pipewerx for £2.69 inc postage - the same ones on ebay were £3.50 to £5.50
They also arrived two days after ordering.
