New full Arrow Exhaust system for v strom 650
« on: December 26, 2016, 20:50:13 »
Hi blokes....need to pick your collective brains...the arrow system is a full system including the rear header...now having looked at it....how the santa claus do you reach the rear header bolts.
Have any of you got the same one fitted....how'd you do it...?

Thanks in advance....Karl.

They are a right royal pain to get to, that was to just nip mine up (stock system)
Good luck. Gawd knows how you'd actually remove & reinstall the thing.

Long and short extension bar from my socket set joined together just gets there, it's a job for small hands and patience.

lol...patients I have....but I have shovels for hands....but I see where your going with the double extension...what size are the hex bolts in there..5-6mm..? Need to visit Halfrauds for an extra extension then....if push came to shove how much do we think a dealer would charge...after all its got to go in for the stator re-call.

Thanks.
