Finally got it
« on: October 29, 2016, 18:41:14 »
Picked her up today,  rode the 35 miles back on wet motorway. Its strange riding a big twin when I've only rode 600 in line 4s.
It feels like my bloody turbo diesel..
just need to put winter rubber and bigger screen,  can't believe the size of this thing I'm 6,4 and can only just flat foot once stopped.
looking at metzeler tourance,  anyone know if these a good winter hack choice??

Nice bike! Erm...your panniers are on the wrong sides though. The red reflectors should be to the rear of the bike. Just saying... :) Hope you have many happy miles ahead!

Sent using carrier pigeon...

Nice ride, they take a bit of getting used to after riding in line 4s.
Tourances in my opinion are a great tyre, I'm on my 3rd set, never had any issues wet or dry .

Looks good! I'm still getting used to the strom after years of in-line 4's, worth it though and satisfying in a different Road legal way

Just ordered a set off ebay with the touring screen,  oil filter, oil, magnetic sump nut and washer.
They don't feel totally yours until you have done the first oil change and new rubber..

Nice bike I have the same model and year ( not the GT ) I have had it from new and love it, I also ride a 1200 bandit and a 1300 b-King completely different bikes but love riding them all, I think you have made a great choice as for the tyres I have just fitted Mitchelin pilot 4s to mine and they are excellent enjoy  :)
