Sump guard without crash bars

Has anyone fitted a sump guard without engine guards? If you have, how did you do it? My '06 650 has a wierd set of engine guards no good for fixing a bash plate to, and I'd rather not bin 'em and buy a new set just because I want to fit a sump guard.

Hi Adam, I am the owner of Ravetech. We do two skid plates for the 650, one that fits to the crash bars and one that fits without engine guards. you can check out these skid plates at www.ravetechmotorcycles.com. Do you have any pictures of the crash bars you have?
