« on: September 09, 2016, 18:25:28 »
Any one ever manage to snap one?? Happend on the motorway! Dealer says they never break especially while moving. Does that make me "unique" :icon_exclaim: Got to love ££££££££ rolling in peoples eyes
Do blue ones go faster..... only one way to find out.... now how does it go back together

Only ways to snap one is its worn through dirt constantly hitting at it over the years, replaced my one a while ago because it was worn at the point where the chain is close or you have a seriously loose chain which can hit the push rod .
Not expensive to replace but the best thing to do is replace the push rod seal also .
You need to remove your clutch slave , front sprocket cover and front sprocket in oder to do this job .

The only way I've heard of that happening is if a broken chain took it out.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s
