Tuono Mirrors

Hi,
Looking for advice on these mirrors, I've seen these...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181276026200
And also these....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Black-Mirrors-For-06-10-Aprilia-Tuono-SL750-08-10-BMW-F800GS-F650GS-/251015631882?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a71b2940a
The first is twice the price of the second but the first states it for the VStrom and the second for a BMW.
Heres the question....are they the same with the same thread? if not can anyone explain why the one that fits the VStrom is twice as expensive? Both prices are for a pair.

Rocket bikes ones are probably official Aprillia mirrors. The others maybe the same but unbranded. I bought the ones from Rocket over three years ago and they're as good as the day I bought them.

Just got home from the rocket centre. I got my mirrors from them. They are spot on.

Ahh...Tall Paul. I noticed you were from Oldham (as am I) but I live in Lymm now. Just looked and didn't realise the shop is Blackburn so I'll go up tomorrow and have a ride.
Thanks,

Good move! The parts department is around the right hand side of the shop where all the motocross and enduro bikes live. This is my daughter eyeing up her next purchase...

The second ones fit perfectly. They are the ones I bought just over 2 years ago and they are a perfect fit. As long as they are 10mm they will fit (10 mm is stadard motorcycle mirror thread anyway). The difference between mine and the second ones are I paid 50p less
but they are the same mirrors with the same description (word for word)

These fit also and are cheaper, more aerodynamic, slightly larger glass area, sold by same seller.

I have a pair on mine. Being a fat B*****d, I also fitted a pair of risers/extenders which added to the cost but I think you'll still have the same problem with the "Tuono" clone mirrors.
If buying extenders, watch out because you'd expect them to be sold in pairs. I did and got a single extender
